About Us
Khaliq-Art means "to create." That's exactly what this is.
I'm Naimah Muhammad, and I started Khaliq-Art because I was tired of choosing between modest and memorable. Modest fashion too often asks a woman to disappear. I wanted to make the opposite — clothing that covers and commands. Unconventional silhouettes, an unmistakable point of view, made for the woman who walks into a room and is remembered.
Every piece is designed by me, with intention. I don't chase trends, because trends fade. I design for style, which doesn't. A Khaliq-Art piece isn't built to last one season and get replaced — it's built to become the thing you reach for, the thing people stop you to ask about, the thing that still feels like you years from now.
This is a Muslim, Black-owned label, made by hand and rooted in one belief: modesty and artistry belong together. When you wear Khaliq-Art, you're not just buying a garment — you're wearing something made deliberately, by someone who believes you deserve to feel like art.
Fashion fades. Style is eternal. Welcome to Khaliq-Art.
